Traditions and Activities

In memory of May 24 people make representations of the great battle that took place over 200 years ago. In museums also emphasize that the date was the beginning of our independence.

On this day the streets wearing the colors of our flag and unites us all a sense of freedom thanks to those who sacrificed their lives to give us a better future.

Remember the Battle of Pichincha should serve us to think with our own heads, to feel our own hearts and walk with our own legs, to move forward and build a united country.
